More than 350 private and government organisations will take part in the University of Queensland on Wednesday 25 March.

ҹɫÊÓƵ Careers Service manager Daniel Capper said the fair would give students an opportunity to discuss career options with a range of employees in one location.

“Students can explore their career opportunities and get information about individual companies,” Mr Capper said.

“Several exhibitors will provide specific information on finding employment, preparing résumés and performing well at job interviews.

“The fair is a chance for ҹɫÊÓƵ students to position themselves with industry, discover opportunities that are right for them and learn more about organisational culture and recruitment practices,” Mr Capper said.

The Careers Fair is relevant to ҹɫÊÓƵ students at all year levels, with some companies offering programs and scholarships to first-year students, internship places for second- and third-year students and graduate programs that start in February 2016 for final-year students.

Third year engineering student Johnny Gian, who attended the 2014 Careers Fair, said he encouraged all students to attend.

“Attending the Careers Fair was an incredibly rewarding experience for me last year.

“Not only was I able to learn more about the various companies hiring graduates from my field, but speaking with employers directly gave me a better understanding of the current job market and the type of people they were looking for and to adjust my applications accordingly,” he said.

Students attending the fair should be professionally dressed and ready to introduce themselves and ask questions of the employers.

The fair is at the ҹɫÊÓƵ Centre at the St Lucia Campus from 10am to 2pm Wednesday. For more information visit .
