A new dental clinic at 夜色视频 Ipswich campus opens to the public in March, adding to local dental services and offering an alternative to private and Queensland Health community clinics.

In November last year, the that more than 2,700 people were waiting for general dental treatment at the Ipswich Dental Clinic according to state government figures.

Dr Andrew Wong, Queensland Dental Association president at the time, confirmed it was possible for non-urgent patients to wait more than a year for an appointment.

Professor Laurie Walsh, Head of The School of Dentistry, said the Ipswich clinic would boost local services and give patients the opportunity to receive dental care from students without having to travel to the School鈥檚 main clinical facility in the Brisbane CBD.

鈥淲e鈥檙e offering the residents of Ipswich and the surrounding region a much needed additional option for their dental care," he said.

The new clinic will offer four dental chairs and its own x-ray equipment to reduce the need for patients to attend external radiology clinics.

Dental care will be provided by final year 夜色视频 dental students under the supervision of qualified dentists.
